Serving those who served us
Homeless Veterans of America, Inc. was founded to honor and support the men and women who served our country and now find themselves without a safe place to call home. Our mission is simple: help homeless veterans reconnect with family, return home when possible, and receive the basic support they need along the way.
When a veteran cannot immediately return to family, we work to connect them with shelters, food assistance, and local resources in their area. Whether they are in the Bay Area or calling from another part of the country, we do what we can to point them toward help.
Founded by Vietnam veteran Bob Miller, Homeless Veterans of America, Inc. exists because no veteran should have to face homelessness alone.
